IdeasCity is a civic/ creative/ collaborative platform of the New Museum in New York that starts from the premise that art and culture are essential to the future vitality of cities. For the 2017 edition of the festival which explored “100 Actions for the Future City”, OS_Studio re-used the elements designed earlier for temporary sleeping units and reconfigured them into an installation for the one-day event at Sarah D. Roosevelt Park in Manhattan. Three circles allowed to present ideas and actions for the future city and let speakers, participants and visitors interact on different scales: via an arena for debates, a stage for talks and presentations and an array of stands.
